ARTISTS OF NEW SOUTH ART SHOP IN GROUP EXHIBIT AT TSU'S ROSA PARKS MUSEUM
Montgomery, AL - TSU’s Rosa Parks Museum Exhibition Hall showcases five of the more than 200 artists whose works are on display at New South Art Shop in downtown Montgomery.  The works of Sergei Shillabeer, John Wagnon, Jason Jordan, Durand Seay and Buz Crump are currently on exhibit through May 30, 2004.  The works in this exhibit range from the urbane to the sublime in oil, mixed media, watercolor and photography.  Each artistic piece shows a distinct artistic viewpoint.
Buz Crump created and founded The New South Art Shop in downtown Montgomery in November 1992.  With only a handful of artists, he was able to showcase local and regional artistic talent and to provide the community with unusual and unique art and art objects.
The Exhibition Hall is open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday.  The exhibit is open for public viewing during these hours with no admission charge.
For more information, contact Georgette Norman, Museum Director, by telephone (334) 241-9608 or by email (gmnorman@troy.edu).
