TSU music faculty to direct Troy Symphony Orchestra spring performance
   Dr. James Zingara and Ginger Zingara, faculty members from the John M. Long School of Music at Troy State University, will conduct the Troy Symphony Orchestra in its spring performance Monday, April 26.
   The concert is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Claudia Crosby Theater, located on the Troy State campus. The public is invited to attend the free event.
   The program will feature a variety of classical and modern selections, including the familiar melodies “Rhapsody in Blue” and “Carmen,” by such composers as Gershwin, Rachmaninoff, Handel, Vaughn, Williams, Bizet, del Borgo, Mouret and Ralph Ford .
   The Troy Symphony Orchestra is comprised of musicians of all ages and levels of experience, gathered from throughout the southeast Alabama region.
