| TSU students to attend 44 th annual ADDY ® Awards Ceremony |

and design students from Troy State University will attend the annual
ADDY ® Award Ceremony at the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts on
Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. “This year's event has attracted more entries than previous years. We're seeing increased participation from professional studios and agencies in the Montgomery area, as well as two universities that have not participated before,” said Jerry Johnson, Chair of the Department of Art and Design and a member of the Montgomery Advertising Federation Board. “The heightened competition should set the pace for a great event.” This is the second year graphic design students are competing for awards in various professional categories as well as for the student achievement award. “We are very proud of the work our students are producing,” said Ed Noriega , TSU Professor of Art and Design and ADDY ® chair. “It's amazing to see student work compete with top agencies and designers in Montgomery , and to see them come home with an armload of awards.” The 44 th annual ADDY ® Awards will be held at the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served at 6:30 p.m. Cost of the event is $10. |
