Troy State University Brass Symposium 2004 scheduled
   The Troy State University Brass Symposium 2004 will be Feb. 27-28. The symposium is sponsored by the Troy City Council for the Arts and Humanities and the TSU John M. Long School of Music.
    A faculty recital will be held Friday, Feb. 27 at 8 p.m. in the Hawkins-Adams-Long Hall of Honor and the 6 th Annual Festival of Brass Concert will be in the Claudia Crosby Theater Saturday, Feb. 28 at 7:30 p.m. and will feature clinical solos, the TSU Chamber Winds, TSU Trumpet Ensembles I and II, and two Honors Brass Ensembles composed of high school students.
    The clinicians and staff for the concerts include Bert Truax, trumpet, formerly of the Dallas Symphony; Greg Harper, bass trombone, of the Colorado Symphony; James Zingara, Professor of Trumpet at TSU; Ralph Ford, TSU Director of Bands; and Ginger Zingara, TSU instructor of music.
