29, 2004 TSU Choral Masterworks Festival March 6 Troy State University 's John M. Long School of Music will present its fifth annual Choral Masterworks Festival is scheduled for Saturday, March 6, featuring music of the Baroque era. More than 100 students will perform three classical pieces of the Baroque era: Johann Sebastian Bach's “Magnificant” and George Frideric Handel's “Coronation Anthems” and the “Hallelujah Chorus,” taken from his work “The Messiah.” The concert will also feature a small orchestral accompaniment performing on instruments original to the time period. All ensembles will appear under the direction of Paul McGahie, Director of Choral Activities at TSU. The concert is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. in the Claudia Crosby
Theater, located on the Troy State campus. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5
