has been named Director of Annual Giving and Special Projects at
Troy
University
.
Bookout received a bachelor’s
degree in Music from
Queens
College
in
Charlotte
,
N.C.
and a master’s
degree in Arts Administration from
Florida
State
University
.
She previously served as development consultant for the
Maxwell
C. King
Center
for
the Performing Arts, Inc. in Melbourne, Fla., director of Annual Fund and Alumni
Relations at the Florida State University College of Law and the Director of
Development at
Maclay
School
in
Tallahassee
.
Bookout’s goal
at
Troy
University
is
to implement a universitywide annual fund program which would provide unrestricted
resources for all campus initiatives. Bookout says that
Troy
is a great place to live and she is excited
to have the opportunity to work at the University.
