Two Troy University professors return from Sweden

   Professors Jerry Johnson and Ed Noriega have just returned from Halmstad University in Halmstad, Sweden, where the art and design professors lectured to Swedish students on the topic of digital creativity.
   According to Johnson, the Chairman of the Department of Art and Design, most of the students were majoring in edutainment software design or information communications technology.
   In addition to delivering lectures and presentations to students, Johnson and Noriega presented an overview of the Department of Art and Design at Troy University , including its Center for Design, Technology and Innovation.

,” Johnson said. “This exchange was invaluable and inspirational to us as we continue to expand and globalize the vision of the Center for Design, Technology and Innovation and Troy University .”
The trip included meetings with Halmstad faculty in several disciplines, including business, engineering, languages and industrial design.
In 2001 Troy University established a formal partnership agreement with Halmstad University . This was to help promote a desire to develop and exchange activities between the two universities.
