Troy University students to take part in Fall Honors Recital

The Troy University Fall Honors Recital will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 17, in Sorrell Chapel at 7:30 p.m.

“This is a biennial, formal concert to feature outstanding individual performers who have to first be recommended by their private instructors and then win an audition before a panel of Troy University music faculty,” said James Zingara, assistant professor of music.

Performers in this year’s Honors Recital are:
   

• April Jacobs of Smiths Station, soprano
• Amanda McFarland of Birmingham , flute
• Edward McFarland of Montrose, marimba
• Erin McLaughlin of Debary, FL, oboe
• Will Pierce of Greenville, piano
• Ashley Swenning of Panama City , flute.
