Miss Troy University contestants to compete on Oct. 31

Twelve young women will compete for the Miss Troy University 2005 crown on Sunday, Oct. 31.

The Miss Troy University Pageant will be held at 2 p.m. in the Claudia Crosby Theater on the Troy University campus.  Tickets can be purchased at the door.  General admission is $7 for adults and $5 for children.  Troy University students can purchase tickets for $5 with a valid student identification card.

Competition categories are interview, talent, eveningwear, swimsuit and on-stage question.  The winner of Miss Troy   University will receive one year of full tuition, paid entry to the Miss Alabama pageant and various other prizes.
