September 22, 2004 Troy University ’s Hall School of Journalism to host high school workshop Troy University ’s Hall School of Journalism will hold its annual Southeast Regional High School Journalism Workshop on Thursday, Sept. 30. High schools from the region will participate in the workshop, which will consist of topics relating to journalism, such as graphics and desktop publishing, television news and production, photography, sports reporting, news writing, layout and design, advertising, and feature writing. Faculty members, Troy University alumni and local journalists will teach at the workshop. The goal of the workshop is to provide high school journalists with the proper training and help them improve their school newspapers, according to Dr. Steven Padgett, Director of Hall School of Journalism. The workshop will be in the Trojan Center Ballrooms from 9 until 2:30 p.m. Schools scheduled
