The Guys scheduled as first production of 2004-2005 season

   The Guys, the first production of the Troy University Theatre 2004-2005 season, will be Oct. 7, 9 and 11 at 7:30 p.m. in the Trojan Center Theatre on the Troy Campus.
   This two-character play is based on a journalist’s personal experiences in the aftermath of Sept.11. Play creator Anne Nelson was faced with having to help a fire captain write eulogies for some of his men killed as a result of the terrorist attacks.
   The Guys will be the starting point for the theatre department, as well as part of the Alabama Conference of Theatre.
   The play will star Georgia Mallory, a senior from Prattville who pursuing a double major in music education and theatre, and Chris Minton, a junior theatre major from Naples , Texas . Both students are members of Alpha Psi Omega National Theatre Honorary.
   Tickets are $5 for general admission and free for TROY students with a valid student I.D. They can be purchased at the Troy University Box Office or at the door on the night of the performance.
