TROY – Nursing graduates from Troy University set the mark on the NCLEX-RN exam for 2004, receiving the overall highest score among BSN programs in the state.
“We are very proud of our nursing graduates,” said Dr. Bernita Hamilton, director of the School of Nursing & Baccalaureate Degree Program.
Troy University nursing students had an overall pass rate of 95.7% for the 2004 exam period, the highest in the state for BSN programs according to the Alabama Board of Nursing.
“These scores are reflective of the quality of education at TROY. The outstanding faculty, a well designed curriculum, and excellent clinical experiences factor into the success of our graduates,” she said.
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program is designed to develop expertise necessary for nurses in the rapidly changing health care field.
