"Take back the night" aims to end violence against women

TROY – An anti-violence program and candlelight vigil will highlight “Take Back the Night” at Troy University Tuesday.

The Troy Women’s Initiative and Project SAVE are sponsors of the event that begins at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 19 in the amphitheater on the Troy campus.

“Take Back the Night” programs are aimed at spreading awareness about violence against women and seek to end such violence through education.
