TROY The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has cleared the way for Troy University to offer master degrees in the Philadelphia area.

According to Christine Burge, regional director for TROY ’s Atlantic Region, the campus will be located in Chester County and will offer a master of public administration, master of science in management, master of human resource management, master of science in criminal justice and a certificate program in risk management.

“This is a significant move for the University in our region,” she said. “ TROY is known internationally for its graduate degree programs in business and public administration and we’re pleased to offer these programs to the citizens of the Greater Philadelphia area.”

Burge said the location, which has begun recruiting staff and students, would be operational during the fall term, with students expected to matriculate in early 2006. She expects to enroll about 120 students in the first year of operation, growing to more than 500 within two years.
