Free Seminar at Troy University Examines the Vietnam War

DOTHAN Gain a deeper understanding of the Vietnam War at Troy University . Wednesday, August 17, the Senior World Group of Dothan will host a free educational seminar titled “The Historical Perspective of the Vietnam War.” The seminar begins at 9:00 a.m. in Adams Hall on the Dothan Campus.

John Williams, former WTVY News4 anchor, is the featured speaker. Williams will share his experiences in Naval Special Warfare. Serving two tours of duty in Vietnam , Williams participated in numerous risky rescue missions, and was temporarily declared Missing in Action (MIA) on one of those missions.
