TROY – For the first time, Troy University’s Sorrell College of Business is offering three weekend courses in its Risk Management and Insurance program during the fall semester.
Insurance Operations (RMI 3342), a course in the preparation for the CPCU 552 examination, will be offered Aug. 26 – 28, Oct. 28 – 30, and Dec. 2 – 4. All three weekends must be met in order to complete the course.
Life and Health Insurance (RMI 3346) will be offered Sept. 16-19. Completion of this course qualifies the student to sit for the
Alabama Life and Health Producers License examination.
Corporate Risk Management (RMI 4440) will be offered Oct. 7 -9 and Nov. 11-14.
Each course is a three hour university course, and also provides 12 hours of
Alabama Continuing Education credit.
“Insurance professionals wishing to increase their knowledge, earn CE credit hours, work toward an RMI degree or certification, or prepare for CPCU examinations may find this schedule beneficial,” said Dr. Carol Jordan, RMI’s eminent scholar.
For more information, call the RMI department at 334-670-5833 to speak with Olivia Townsend-Williams, the department secretary or 334-670-3633 to speak with Dr.
Jordan. To register for the classes, contact TROY’s Office of Admissions at 334-670-3179.
