Troy University eCampus receives new “best buy” in online education ranking

TROY – GetEducated.com, LLC has named Troy University among its Top 10 most affordable online human resources master’s degree providers.

A “Best Buy” designation indicates that the program has been found to offer a high-quality, accredited, distance degree at a cost well below the national average.

“Our commitment to providing quality online degree programs and exceptional student services at an affordable price demonstrates Troy University's dedication to improving educational access locally, nationally, and internationally,” said Dr. Sallie Johnson, dean of distance learning at TROY.

TROY occupied the number three slot on the HR listing, and the University’s online master of business administration, master of education and overall online graduate programs ranked among the nation’s top 25.

“In an age when college costs are skyrocketing, you should be proud of your program’s success at making higher education more accessible to working adults through the double merits of distance learning and affordable pricing,” said Vicky Phillips, founder and CEO of GetEducated.com, LLC.

In 1989 GetEducated.com, LLC designed and directed America’s first online counseling center for adult learners seeking accredited online college degrees. Today they operate the only clearinghouse in the USA dedicated exclusively to showcasing accredited online degrees.

Unlike other online degree directories, college experts at GetEducated.com evaluate each and every program. Unaccredited distance learning colleges are barred from the website, online colleges accredited by bogus agencies do not appear on the website, nor are fake Internet universities, or “degree mills,” allowed by the organization, Phillips said.
