The African American Alliance at Troy University will play host to a Black History Month Program on Wednesday, Feb. 9, at 11 a.m. in Trojan Center Theatre on the Troy Campus.
The topic for the program will be Looking toward the future: 2005 and beyond with the keynote address being given by Tonya Terry.
Terry, an alumna of TROY , co-anchors WSFA television’s Today in Alabama and also anchors the Montgomery NBC affiliate’s noon news broadcast.
Prior to coming to WSFA, Terry spent five years in Huntsville where she worked as a news anchor and reporter at both the ABC and CBS affiliates. Terry has also worked at television and radio stations in Troy , Dothan and Enterprise .
