Troy University’s Office of Admissions and Diamond Dears will sponsor the Miss Shamrock and Mr. Leprechaun pageant on March 8 at 7:30 p.m. in the Claudia Crosby Theater.

All Troy University students are eligible to participate. Miss Shamrock contestants will be judged on eveningwear and on-stage introduction, while Mr. Leprechaun contestants will be judged on costume, on-stage question and crowd appeal.
   
Winners will receive a $150 book scholarship from the Troy University National Alumni Association and they will be featured in the St. Patrick’s Day parade on March 12.

There will be a mandatory practice for contestants on March 8 at 3:30 p.m. in the Claudia Crosby Theater.

Applications are available in the Admissions Office, which is located in room 111 of the Adams Administration building. Applications along with the $15 entry fee should be returned to Maria Warren or Beth Fannin in the Admissions Office by 5 p.m., March 3.
