has named Judy Brighton Enfinger director of sponsored programs.
“Ms. Enfinger has done an outstanding job for the University in coordinating and managing grants and contracts and her promotion to director of sponsored programs is well deserved,” said Senior Vice Chancellor Doug Patterson, who oversees the University’s financial and administrative divisions.
The Office of Sponsored Programs coordinates research grants and contracts for the University worldwide, and has generated some $61 million in grants and contracts in support of faculty research in the last 10 years. Enfinger has been with the office since its establishment in 1991, and is currently the office’s assistant director.
Patterson said the office will generate about $14 million in sponsored programs this year, expected to be about $20 million annually by 2008.
