TROY– Troy University’s new logo captured a Silver ADDY from national competition at the American Advertising Federation recently.
The ADDY Awards Competition, considered the world’s largest advertising competition, honors creative excellence and cultivates the highest creative standards in the industry.
“This is truly an honor for our University and is demonstrative of our dedication to producing a highly recognizable image for TROY,” said Dr. Cam Martindale, senior vice chancellor for advancement and external affairs. “A high-quality logo for Troy University is merely a reflection of the quality of education our students receive.”
TROY’s award came in cooperation with STAMATS, an advertising firm retained by the University in 2004 to create a new brand image and develop a style and graphics standard for the University’s consolidation.
Named in the award for Troy University was Sandi Gouge, associate vice chancellor for marketing and communication. Named in the award for STAMATS were Gary Gnade, Scott Linzey and Joyce Little.
