Troy -- The 2005 Miss Alabama Forestry pageants will be held at Troy University ’s Claudia Crosby Theater July 9.

The divisions are Miss (ages 17-21), Teen (ages 14-16), Junior (ages 11-13), Petite (ages 9-10), Little (ages 6-8) and Tiny (ages 4-5). 

The Miss division will compete in evening gown, on-stage question, portfolio and interview categories.  Teen Miss will compete in the same categories, except the portfolio competition will be replaced by a photogenic competition for this age division.  Junior, Petite, Little and Tiny Miss divisions will compete in evening gown, on-stage question and photogenic categories.

Applications can be obtained at www.alforestry.com and are due by June 15.  A $125 entry fee is required for the Miss division.  The fee for the other divisions is $100.

Tiny and Little Miss pageants will be held at 10 a.m., while Petite and Junior will follow at 2 p.m.  The night will conclude with the crowing of new Teen and Miss Alabama Forestry queens at 5:30 p.m.
