Troy -- Troy University ’s Sound of the South marching band will host a summer music camp and director’s clinic June 12-16 in Troy .

Registration forms can be obtained by following the “summer camps” link at www.soundofthesouth.org. The camp is open to grades 8-12. 

The cost of room, board and instruction is $230 when registering before June 3 and $250 after June 3.  For commuters, the cost is $100 prior to June 3 and $120 after the deadline.  Registration will be open until the final day of camp.  A $20 deposit is required to pre-register and the clinic is free to directors who bring students to the camp.

For band directors, one semester credit hour is available.  The cost is $160 for in-state graduate students and $307 for out-of-state graduate students.
