TROY opens new Graduate Center in Tampa, Fla.

TROY Business and civic leaders joined educators in June to officially open Troy University ’s newest campus in Tampa , Fla.

The Tampa Graduate Center , located in the Westshore’s Bridgeport Center , will offer the master of business administration, master of science in management, master of public administration, master of science in counseling and psychology and the master of science in post-secondary education degrees, according to Dr. Manfred F. Meine, director of TROY ’s Florida Region.

Originally located on MacDill Air Force Base, the University moved to its second campus in south Tampa in 2001.

“With expanding enrollments, the University chose the very desirable location in West Shore , close to downtown, the interstate and highways as its new Tampa headquarters,” Meine said.

Under the direction of South Florida Director Dr. Marci Goldstein, Tampa enrollments have risen 34 percent in the last year.
