TROY
– University trustees today approved a 4 percent increase in tuition effective for the fall semester.
The Board of Trustees unanimously approved the measure that will raise average tuition for 12 to 16 credit hours from the current rate of $1,925 per semester for full-time undergraduates to $2,002 per semester, or from $167 per credit hour to $170 per credit hours for undergraduates taking non-standard hours. Graduate tuition increased from $175 per credit hour to $182 per credit hour.
The tuition increase is effective for the University’s four
Alabama
campuses –
Troy
,
Dothan
,
Phenix City
and
Montgomery
.
While tuition is increasing, the trustees held the line on room and board rates, with zero increases for any of the University’s housing or meal plans.
