Montgomery, AL – Best of Broadway Presents Christmas from Broadway, a special evening filled with holiday music sung by Broadway stars, will be making its Montgomery premiere at Troy University’s Davis Theatre for the Performing Arts for one evening only on Monday, Dec.12, beginning at 7 p.m.  This production is sponsored by Alabama Power.

Guaranteed to create a festive mood, The Best of Broadway presents Christmas from Broadway features music from favorite Broadway shows and classic films. From the poignancy of White Christmas to the hilarious fractured carols, join Raymond Saar, Diane Ketchie, Valerie Perri and Scott Harlan as they celebrate the season of love from around the world.

This show features some of the most popular music of the season ever written, including White Christmas, O Holy Night, Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas, Wassail, Feliz Navidad, I'll Be Home for Christmas and many more.  These memorable songs are sung by four performers who have combined credits from Broadway and Off-Broadway.  Their credits also include guest artist appearances with major symphony orchestras as well as concerts everywhere from Carnegie Hall to a command performance at the White House.

Best of Broadway Presents Christmas from Broadway is presented as a part of the 2005-2006 Subscriber Series for Troy University’s Davis Theatre.  Single tickets are now available for purchase and range in price from $15 to $40.  For more information regarding ticket availability, call the theatre at (334) 241-9567.  Office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. – noon.  All productions for the 10th Annual Season Subscriber Series are presented in Troy University’s Davis Theatre, which is located in downtown Montgomery at 251 Montgomery Street, and have a 7 p.m. curtain time unless noted.
