TROY -- Troy University will be hosting the Middle School Southeastern United States honor band clinic on Dec. 1-3. 

This event, know as MSSEUS, will feature performances by the Troy University Symphony Band.  This performance will be conducted by Ralph Ford and will take place on Thursday, Dec 1 at 8 p.m.

There will also be two guest middle schools to perform.  Woodward Academy Middle School Band from College Park, Ga. will perform under the direction of Valerie Morgan.  Irmo Middle School Band from Columbia, S.C. under the direction of Trey Simmons.

Students performing in the honor bands will be instructed by talented guest directors.  The Gold band will be directed by Fred J. Allen, Director of Bands from Stephen F. Austin State University, Nacogdoches, Texas. The Crimson band will be directed by Sean Carney of Ft. Mill, S. C. and the silver band will be directed by Trent Burkett of Bay Minette, Alabama.
