TROY -- Troy University’s music students will begin preparation for graduation by performing their senior recitals in the Hawkins-Adams-Long Hall of Honor.
Amy Ray of Dothan will play the flute on Nov. 19 at 11 a.m. Laura Aaron of Bay Minette will be performing on the piano at the same time. At 2 p.m., Stephanie Jordan of Goshen will play her clarinet.
The Nov. 20 lineup begins at 2 p.m. with pianist Will Pierce of Honoraville. Percussionist Jay Carlin of Montgomery will perform at 4 p.m.
Percussionst Joseph Murfin of Silverhill will perform his senior recital at 7 p.m. Nov. 21.
The final performance will come at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 27 when saxophonist Jacob Rasberry of Jemison performs.
The recitals are free and open to the public.
In addition to the recitals, the Alabama Jubilee Chorus will perform at the Sigma Alpha Iota Fall Musicale at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 18 in the Hall of Honor, and the Troy University Trumpet Ensemble and Brass Quintet will give a performance at 1 p.m. Nov. 30. Both events are free and open to the public.
The John M. Long School of Music Choral Department will present the Sounds of the Season concert at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 6 in Claudia Crosby Theatre. Tickets for the event are $5 and may be purchased at the theatre the night of the performance. Hot cocoa and refreshments will be served on the Quad immediately following the performance.
