Golfers Tee Off for TROY Scholarships

DOTHAN – Troy University faculty members Dr. Robert Saunders (left), Dr. Robert Burroughs, Dr. Kirk Davis and Dr. Larry Brown show off their golf skills during the Troy University Alumni Association – Dothan Campus Jackson Thornton Invitational Golf Tournament presented by CenturyTel. Nearly 200 golfers took part in the event, which was held September 29 at Highland Oaks in Dothan. According to Debbie Christian, alumni liaison, tournament proceeds will provide scholarships to deserving Dothan Campus students.

Team KMX 106.7 (not pictured) emerged the winner, taking home a trophy and gift certificates.
