Veteran's Day Observance

The TROY family is coming together on the Dothan Campus to honor military veterans Thursday, Nov. 10; and you are invited to help personalize this celebration by bringing pictures of yourself or family members in uniform. “Faces of Honor” photos will be displayed in the Library/Technology Building beginning at 9 a.m. the day of the event. Veterans Celebration – November 10th
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. - Faces of Honor on display in L/TB*
11 a.m. - SGA reception for area veterans, Michelin Room, L/TB
11:30 a.m. - Speaker: Wendell Stepp,
US Army (Ret), Coordinator, WG Military Alliance
11:50 a.m. - Move outside to flagpole
12 p.m. to 12:10 p.m. - Flagpole Ceremony

* Display tables will be provided in the Library/Technology Building. Contributors are responsible for placing and retrieving their photos. Pictures of veterans in uniform are preferred, but bring what you have. We know many of the veterans among us are modest, but we would love to see a photo of you in uniform! Retired faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends of the University are also invited to contribute. So climb those attic stairs, open up those photo albums and get ready to honor our veterans!
