School of Nursing to host health fair

TROY – Troy University’s School of Nursing will host its 5th Annual Health Fair from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29 at Eastdale Mall in Montgomery.

This year’s health fair will provide health screenings, nutritional screenings, an orthodontic screening by Dr. Foch Smart, and physical and occupational therapists will be on hand for postural, behavioral, scoliosis and developmental screenings of children, said Mary Grace Crawford, an assistant professor of nursing who is helping organize the event.

Vision testing and glaucoma testing will also be available, and flu shots will be available at a nominal fee of $15. All screenings are free, she said.
