Troy University to Observe Veteran's Day

DOTHAN – The Troy University Student Government Association invites the public to take part in a Veterans Day tribute on the Dothan Campus Thursday, November 10. The celebration gets underway at 11 a.m. with a reception for area veterans in the Michelin Room of the Library Technology Building . The guest speaker will be World War II veteran Wendell Stepp.

Following the reception, participants will gather around the flagpole for a brief tribute. The public is invited to help personalize the celebration by bringing photos of themselves or loved ones who have served in the military. The “Faces of Honor” will be displayed on tables in the Library/Technology Building from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. the day of the observance.
