TROY's Hall School of Journalism bringing high school journalists to campus

TROY -- Troy University Hall School of Journalism will be hosting the Annual High School Workshop Thursday, Sept. 29.

The welcome will begin at 9 a.m in the Adams Center Ballroom, followed by the first session of the workshop beginning at 9:25 a.m, said Brenda McDuffie, of the journalism departmental.

"Dr. Steve Padgett is in charge of the workshop and will be assisted by the other journalism professors as well as journalism student volunteers," said McDuffie.

The students can expect to be given tips on print, broadcast and photography.

Many schools from around the state attend the journalism workshop each year and the cost is $7.50 per student, which includes lunch.
