TROY
–
Troy
University
has added an online service for student convenience through its membership in the National Student Clearinghouse, which allows student transcripts to be ordered via the internet.
In the past, a transcript would have to be requested in person, by fax or by mail, said Vicki Miles, the University’s registrar. This due to a requirement that a signature was required in order to release grades.
“Our students and alumni are taking advantage of the service. It streamlines the process for them greatly,” she said.
Now, students can request a transcript and pay the $5 transcript fee, plus a processing fee $2.25 online. Transcripts will be mailed from
Troy
within 24 to 48 hours.
TROY
is one of only three universities in
Alabama
to offer the service to students and alumni. Transcripts may be ordered online at http://www.nslc.org.
