TROY – Alabama Secretary of State Nancy Worley will administer the oath of office to Troy University’s Student Government Association officers and senators at 7 p.m. April 11.

The inauguration ceremonies will be conducted in the Hawkins-Adams-Long Hall of Honor and follows the SGA’s final round of elections on April 5. It will be the second consecutive ceremony in which Worely has administered the oath.

Following the inauguration, Ralph Stacy, president and chief executive officer of the Alabama Chamber of Commerce, will deliver the keynote address during a banquet honoring the newly installed officials.

Stacy currently serves as a member of the board of directors of the Business Council of Alabama and is a gubernatorial appointee to the Alabama Council of Association Executives, said Jennifer Wetterer, current SGA member.

He is a certified association executive.
