February 1, 2006 TROY media events Feb. 2-4 EDITORS/NEWS DIRECTORS: At 4:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, Troy University and the Wiregrass Museum of Art will conduct an official signing ceremony establishing a partnership between the University and Museum. You organization is invited to cover this event. Details of the agreement will be released at the ceremony. It will be conducted in the Malone Gallery on the Troy campus. Also Friday on the Troy campus, the Fifth Annual African-American Leadership Conference opens in the Trojan Center. The two-day event is co-hosted by the City of Troy and the University. Dr. Ronald V. Myers M.D. will keynote the opening ceremony which begins at 6:30 p.m. At 11:00 a.m. Saturday, the Rev. Jamal Harrison-Bryant of Empowerment Temple in Baltimore, Md. Both days of this event are open to the media. A Jan. 23 media advisory issued contains the agenda for this event.
