TROY – Troy University will host the 8th annual Brass Symposium at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 17 - 18 in Hawkins-Adams-Long Hall of Honor.
The feature performers will be the Brass Quintet of the United States Air Force Reserve.
This exceptional chamber group will present a recital of classical, pops and patriotic selections and will also include performances by the Troy Brass.
In addition to these performances, the TROY Trumpet Ensemble and several honors ensembles composed of area high school students will perform, said Dr. James Zingara, assistant professor of music.
This event offers the ceremony, scope and variety of a typical concert and will conclude with a grand mass finale comprised of more than one hundred performers.
