Hyundai vice president speaks at Sorrell College of Business convocation
   

TROY – Keith Duckworth, executive vice president and
administrative services of Hyundai Motor America,
will speak to the College of Business Convocation at 10 a.m.
March 1 Adams Center Theatre.

Duckworth is responsible for human resources, facilities
and purchasing, and vehicle services at Hyundai.  He joined
Hyundai in 1989 and previously worked in human resources
at Nissan Motor Company. 

Duckworth is a Vietnam veteran.  He holds degrees from California State
University, Long Beach and Western State
University College of Law.  Duckworth resides in Canyon Lake, Calif.
with his wife and two children. 

The College of Business Convocation is part of the Visiting Distinguished
Lecturers Series. The convocation also allows
executives to become familiar with TROY and its students. 

“The purpose is to allow our students as well as faculty and staff and the
general public to hear first-hand from key
business executive regarding what it takes to successfully compete in the
global market place,” said Lawrence Lovik,
Sorrell College of Business chair. “Our students who apply themselves
and strive to achieve their potential are able
to compete with the graduates of any university.”
