EDITORS/NEWS DIRECTORS: The 5th annual Troy University Rosa Parks Woman of Courage Awards and Lecture Series will honor Reverend Gloria Elaine White-Hammond, who is the Chairperson of the Million Voice for Darfur Campaign and the Co-chair of the Massachusetts Coalition to Save Darfur. This event will be held on June 15, at 6 p.m. in the Gold Room of Whitley Hall in Montgomery. The event is free and open to the public.

DOTHAN CAMPUS: Troy University’s Small Business Development Center is hosting a one-day workshop aimed at teaching small businesses the art of successful proposal writing. “RFPs from A to Z: Producing a Winning Proposal in Response to a Request for Proposal” will be presented by Chuck Keller, president of Keller Proposal Development and Training from 8:15 a.m. until 4:45 p.m. on July 19 at the Troy University Continuing Education Center in Dothan. TROY CAMPUS: Troy University’s Movie Gallery Veterans Stadium will rock with the sounds of champion drum and bugle corps at 7 p.m. July 25 as the Drum Corps International competition gets underway at the Trojan Summer Music Games.
In addition, the public can attend a free clinic with the World Champion Blue Devils from Concord, Calif. from 3 – 5 p.m. at the Movie Gallery Veterans Stadium.
