TROY – A Troy University professor has been named to the medical staff of the U.S. Olympic Committee’s U.S Olympic Training Center.

Dr. Amanda Andrews, an assistant professor of athletic training education, will serve as a volunteer athletic trainer July 10 – 25 at the Colorado Springs, Colo. facility.

“This is a big recognition for Dr. Andrews and for the University’s athletic training program,” said John “Doc” Anderson, the athletic training education director. “We congratulate her on this accomplishment.”
