DOTHAN – The time to “walk for someone you love” is fast approaching. The 2006 March of Dimes WalkAmerica event is set for 9 a.m. Saturday, April 22, at Eastgate Park in Dothan.

Once again, Troy University is gathering a team for the event. To raise money for the walk, TEAM DOTHAN will host a Food Fair on the Dothan Campus Wednesday, March 15, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

With the help of area businesses and organizations, TEAM DOTHAN members will provide a variety of food dishes for an “all you can eat” buffet. The fundraiser, which will be held in room 123 of Malone Hall, is open to the public. The cost at the door is $5 per person. 

Premature birth, which is the leading cause of newborn death, affects more than 460,000 babies in the United States each year. Nearly half of all premature births are for unknown reasons. Join TEAM DOTHAN and give all babies a fighting chance!
