Nov. 15: Higher education officials from the People’s Republic of China will be on the Troy Campus for the 1-2-1 Sino-American Dual Degree Program’s convocation. During this visit, the Chinese delegation will hold talks with University officials regarding educational opportunities between the two nations.
The convocation will begin at 10 a.m. at the Hawkins-Adams-Long Hall of Honor and last about one hour.
A media availability with Chancellor Hawkins and the delegation leadership will be immediately prior to the Convocation. Media are requested to be in place at HAL Hall by 9:45 a.m. in order to take advantage of this opportunity.

Nov. 16: TROY’s new Extended Learning Center will conduct an open house. This facility, located at 1101 South Brundidge St. in Troy, houses the eCampus, ACCESS and AMSTI programs.

Nov. 17: Handel’s Messiah performance by Collegiate Singers Festival Chorus and Orchestra. In Claudia Crosby Theater, 7:30 p.m. Conducted by Catherine Allard and featuring soloists Margaret Jackson, Joan Hazel, Roderick George and Michael Hix. Ticketed event: $10 adult/$5 student. Nov. 18: Salute to Veterans at Movie Gallery Veterans Stadium. Armed Forces will be honored, other special events. Kickoff is 6 p.m.
