TROY – Troy University will host high school and community college students on the Troy Campus Oct. 14 at its Fall Preview Day.
“This is an opportunity for students thinking about attending TROY to come visit and find out what it’s all about,” said Buddy Starling, dean of enrollment management.
During the day, representatives from academic departments will be set up around the campus Quad to introduce prospective students to the University’s programs. Faculty, current TROY students and staff members will be available to answer questions about admissions, scholarships, financial aid, housing and student activities. Tours of the campus will be offered, including an opportunity to visit residence halls.
“That afternoon we’ll provide a barbeque on the Shackelford Quad with entertainment and provide complimentary admission to the TROY – Louisiana Monroe football game,” Starling said.
The day begins at 10 a.m. with registration at Claudia Crosby Theater in Smith Hall and the “academic browse” on the Quad. A welcome session and admissions presentation begins at 11 a.m. in Claudia Crosby Theater and Trojan Ambassadors will provide an enrollment overview at 12 p.m.
Kickoff time is 3 p.m.
