‘Be Your Own Boss’ is subject of seminar

Troy University’s Small Business Development Center and The Entrepreneur Source will present a two-hour seminar entitled “Be Your Own Boss” Oct. 16 on the Dothan Campus.

Financing options will also be covered during the program, which is slated for 5 – 7 p.m. in the Harrison Room. The seminar is free but seating is limited.  For reservations, call 334-670-3771.

The seminar’s primary presenter is Evelyn Livermore, the managing partner of the Navarre office of The Entrepreneur’s Source.  She became a franchisee because of her desire to help people achieve their career dreams and because of the opportunity for personal growth she knew it was possible with this organization.  She is a graduate of the E-Source Academy, an intense rigorous training program on coaching, franchising and self-employment options.  She attends more than five hours of weekly training to hone her coaching skills so that she can better serve her clients.

Livermore has more than 15 years of experience in management.  Prior to joining The Entrepreneur’s Source, her career included Capital One Financial Services, NASD, Inc., Citigroup and Pratt & Whitney.  She holds a bachelor of science degree from Troy University and a masters of science degree from Clemson University.

Also included in the program will be information about different sources of loans to start your small business.
