TROY, Ala. – Troy University’s annual Homecoming Parade will take to the streets of downtown Troy on Nov. 4 beginning at 10 a.m.
The parade will begin at the corner of Montgomery and North Three Notch streets, continue to downtown through the Square to Elm Street and finish in front of the Old Recreational Department, according to Jennifer Barner of the Pike County Chamber of Commerce.
“There is no entry fee for the parade if you make your own float or have your own antique car, but there are also professional floats available for purchase,” Barner said.
All parade entries should be in good taste and reflect the Homecoming theme “Troy’s Got Game,” according to the rules of the parade.
Anyone interested in entering the parade can pick up an application at the Pike County Chamber of Commerce or contact Barner at 566-2294.
