TUESDAY, Oct. 31: Campus Wide Cleanup (3-4pm), Gospel Choir Concert (Claudia Crosby, 7:30 p.m.)

WEDNESDAY, Nov. 1: Homecoming Queen Elections (Trojan Center & Steward Dining Hall, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.), Skit Competition (Claudia Crosby, 7 p.m.)

THURSDAY, Nov. 2: Pep Rally (Movie Gallery Veterans Stadium, 6:30 p.m.)

FRIDAY, Nov. 3: SGA & Alumni Association sponsored cookout (Amphitheater, 11 a.m. -1 p.m.), Johnny Barron on the Troy Town Square (7-11 p.m.) sponsored by Troy Downtown Merchants.

SATURDAY, Nov. 4: Parade begins at 10 a.m. (around the Square); Trojan Walk (University Ave. to Stadium, 12:45 p.m.); Sound of the South Pre-Game Show (Movie Gallery Veterans Stadium, 2:30 p.m.) Pre-game events include: Homecoming Court & Representatives Introduction, Homecoming Game (Movie Gallery Veterans Stadium, 3 p.m.). Halftime events include: Announcement of homecoming king & queen (first time to name a king) and 2006 Alumni of the Year presentation. Alpha Phi Alpha Step Show (Claudia Crosby Theater, 7 p.m.)

Asthma Safari

Nov. 4 Troy University’s Healthy Kids Healthy Schools program is co-sponsoring the Asthma Safari from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the Joel Witherington Family Center, near the intersection of North Three Notch Street and Gibb Street. http://www.troy.edu/news/archives/2006/october/10112006_asthma_safari.html

Chinese 1-2-1 Delegation Visit

Nov. 15: Higher education officials from the People’s Republic of China will be on the Troy Campus for the 1-2-1 Sino-American Dual Degree Program’s convocation. During this visit, the Chinese delegation will hold talks with University officials regarding educational opportunities between the two nations. The convocation will begin at 10 a.m. and last about one hour. An opportunity to interview key officials will be provided.

Salute to Veterans

Nov. 18: Salute to Veterans. The University will honor veterans of the Armed Services during the TROY – Arkansas State football game.
