MEDIA ADVISORY: Chinese Delegation to Visit Troy Campus

September 14 - 15

A delegation of higher education officials from the People’s Republic of China will visit Troy University Sept. 14 -15 and are expected to sign an agreement establishing a “2 +2” program between TROY and Hebei Normal University of Science and Technology. A signing ceremony is set for 9 a.m. Sept. 15 in Chancellor Jack Hawkins’ office.

Delegation members include Mr. Tang Shengling, president of Hebei University, Mr. Dong Limin, chief, International Cooperation Department of Hebei University and Mr. Yan Xueqian, deputy director of the China Youth Center for International Exchange.

A “2+2” program allows international students from a partnering university to study two years in their home institution and then transfer to TROY to complete their final two years of education.
