April 2, 2007 TROY alumni and recording artist to raise money for Enterprise High School TROY -- Nashville recording artist and Troy University alumna Shelley Hatcher will perform a benefit concert for the Enterprise High School music department at 8 p.m. April 20 in the Claudia Crosby Theater. The concert, presented by David Adams Realty, LLC, is titled, “Shelley Hatcher and Friends: Bringing it Home.” Proceeds from ticket sales will be presented to Enterprise High School to help rebuild its music department since its destruction by the March 1 tornado. The concert is co-sponsored by Harris Tire Co. and Horn Beverage Co. and is a production of the John M. Long School of Music’s Music Industry and General Music program. Hatcher is primarily a country, blues and jazz vocalist and guitarist. She has been a musician since childhood and was a featured vocalist and trumpet player for the Troy University Sound of the South Marching Band. Hatcher now lives in Nashville, writing, recording and performing. The concert will feature Hatcher and special musical guests in a 70-minute performance that is open to an all-ages audience. Ticket prices vary according to seating and are available at the Trojan Box Office, located in the Trojan Center on the Troy campus, beginning April 4. VIP packages are also available for fans who wish to have premiere seating and personally meet Hatcher.
