TROY – The Troy University 1:00 Concert Band will present its spring concert at 7:30 p.m. April 12 in Claudia Crosby Theater.

The band will perform several cornerstones of the band repertoire including “The First Suite in E Flat” by Gustav Holst, “Entry March of the Boyares” by Johan Halvorsen and “Daughters of Texas March” by John Phillip Sousa. Works by Ellerby, Holsinger and others are also included the concert.

Doors open at 7 p.m. and admission is free. The public is invited to attend, said Dr. Mark Walker, associate director of bands.
