Troy University Dazzlers! heat up the stage April 25
   

TROY – The Troy University Dazzlers! Show Choir take to the stage in its primary performance of the semester at 7:30 p.m. April 25 in the Trojan Center Theater.

Admission is free and open to the public.

Dazzlers! Show Choir is comprised of 20 student representing 12 different academic majors and is a mixed choral ensemble that performs a repertoire of classic show tunes, pop hits, and Broadway ballads.  High energy choreography highlights the choral sound to create an entertaining and up-lifting experience for all ages. 

The program will include popular hits from Broadway shows, including “Hernando's Hideaway”  from The Pajama Game, “One” from A Chorus Line, “Seasons of Love” from Rent and “What is This Feeling?” from Wicked. 

“The show will be fun and entertaining for all ages, and it will leave you singing your favorite songs for days afterward,” said Becky Bush, the ensemble’s director.

Dazzlers! Show Choir members are: JQ Archer, a freshman from Alabaster; Michael Brown, a freshman music major from Dothan; Samantha Burrill, a freshman biology major from Albertville; Amber Carter, a freshman biology major from Enterprise; Jackie Crane, a junior political science major from Troy; Ryan Hayden, a freshman broadcast journalism major from Troy; Wesley Jackson, a freshman music major from Huntsville; Brett Johnson, a senior music major from Prattville; Chelsea Lawrence, a freshman education major from Opelika; Jessica Mann, a sophomore communications major from Dothan; James Marshall, a sophomore broadcast journalism major from Ozark; Misty McClure, a freshman broadcast journalism major from Mobile; Jarrod Odom, a freshman history education major from Graceville; Ashton Rafferty, a freshman business major from Ashford; Melodye Redding, a senior education major from Montgomery; Tyler Remkus, a sophomore English major from Athens; Emily Smith, a freshman art major from Troy; Bryant Stokes, a freshman theater major from Troy; Jessica Szerszynski, a freshman music major from Montclair, VA; and Daniel Weeks, a senior English major from Mobile.
